On the morning of June 18th, our school held the Kick-off meeting of the 6th China College Students’ ‘Internet Plus’ Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition in the conference room on the third floor of the office building. Vice President Li Sen and Party Committee member Gao Wencai attended the meeting, and the heads of the Academic Affairs Office, Admissions and Employment Office, Science and Technology Park Management Office, Youth League Committee and other relevant departments, the heads of various colleges and staff related to innovation and entrepreneurship attended the meeting.

At the meeting, the responsible persons of School of Informatics and Technology, School of Physical Education, School of Economics and Management and the School of International Education spoke in turn, sharing the experience and planning of innovation and entrepreneurship education in each college. The responsible persons of the Academic Affairs Office, the Admissions and Employment Office, the Youth League Committee and the Science and Technology Park Management Office respectively introduced the work arrangements for the 2020 Competition.

Li Sen delivered a speech and put forward four requirements: First, we must raise awareness, attach great importance to it, and organize students to actively participate in the competition; Second, we must pay attention to methods, pay attention to strategies, and choose the innovation and entrepreneurship competition projects; Third, we must strengthen guidance, carefully prepare, and create innovative and entrepreneurial boutique results; Fourth, we must jointly tackle key problems, pay attention to results, and create new achievements in the innovation and entrepreneurship competition.

It is reported that the China College Students’ ‘Internet Plus’ Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition is the highest-level competition in China, and it is the competition of “Millions of Students in Thousands of Schools in One Hundred Countries”. Our school has won the National Silver Award in this competition for three consecutive years.
