On the morning of September 18th, in the conference room on the third floor of the office building, President Lin Qiang presided over the symposium of teachers in the 14th Five-Year Plan of the school. Heads of departments such as the Party and Government Office, Personnel Department, Academic Affairs Office, Scientific Research Department and Logistics Department, as well as teachers who have joined the school in recent two years attended the meeting.

In the past two years, the teachers who have joined the school have made suggestions and suggestions on the “14th Five-Year Plan” of the school, and exchanged views on the problems and deficiencies existing in the development and construction of the school. The responsible persons of relevant functional departments responded to the speeches of the teachers one by one and put forward corresponding solutions.

Lin Qiang talked freely with the teachers’ representatives present about the school’s preliminary ideas on the development plan during the 14th Five-Year Plan. He pointed out that the requirements of the school’s development plan during the 14th Five-Year Plan are “the upper level of reform and innovation”, and emphasized the key work that the school will focus on during the 14th Five-Year Plan. Lin Qiang hopes that the teachers present here will actively offer suggestions for the school’s 14th Five-Year Plan, and hopes that during the 14th Five-Year Plan, the school will form an atmosphere of “teachers are happy to teach and students are happy to learn”, and various undertakings of the school will have a qualitative leap, and a high-level university with distinctive characteristics of teacher education will be initially established.

Lin Qiang hopes that the teachers and students of the whole school will work together to deeply understand the unprecedented development opportunities and challenges brought about by the construction of Hainan Free Trade Port, enhance the sense of historical mission and responsibility, and jointly plan the blueprint for the future development of the school.
