Recently, through the organization and application of our school's Academy of Science and Technology, expert evaluation, and publicity by the Provincial Department of Science and Technology, our school's artificial intelligence science popularization base has been recognized as a provincial-level science popularization venue in Hainan Province.
It is reported that the Hainan Provincial Artificial Intelligence Science Popularization Base was affiliated with the School of Mathematics and Statistics and relied on the construction of the Key Laboratory of the Ministry of Education for "Data Science and Smart Education" at Hainan Normal University. It currently has functional laboratories such as EEG laboratory, artificial intelligence laboratory, primary and secondary school innovation laboratory, VR virtual simulation laboratory, etc. The base will strictly follow the requirements of the "Hainan Province Science Popularization Venue Identification Management Measures", and popularize the latest scientific knowledge to the public through various themed exhibitions, lectures, practical activities, and other forms. Give full play to the role of science popularization venues to support the development of science popularization.
