After three days of fierce competition, the 5th National Higher Education Golf Championship and the National Sports Training Competition Alliance Golf Championship ended on September 23 at Danzhou Gu Yantian Golf Club. The Hainan Normal University Golf Team (hereinafter referred to as the Hainan Normal University Golf Team) has won the professional mixed team championship, men's team championship, women's team championship, women's individual runner-up, and men's individual runner-up. The head coach of the team, Wang Xianfei, was also awarded the title of "Excellent Coach". Bian Jianfan and Tian Huanxin were awarded the title of "Excellent Athlete".

 

The golf team of Hainan Normal University was currently composed of master's students in physical education from the School of Physical Education of Hainan Normal University and undergraduate students majoring in golf and management. The team was led by Zhang Xinding, the dean of the School of Physical Education, and the coaches were Wang Xianfei and Song Chaoyang. Zhang Xinding said that currently there are only two national college student golf tournaments in China: the China College Student Golf Championship and the National Higher Education Golf Championship. The National Normal University Golf Team has won the team championship of these two tournaments held this year. In 2023, which coincided with the 10th year of operation of the Haishi Golf Professional School, achieved such excellent results cannot be separated from the support of the school leaders and teachers, let alone the hard work and dedication of the professional students.
