On October 27th, Xu Mei, Secretary of the Party Committee of our school, and Chen Xianfeng, a member of the Party Committee Standing Committee and Vice President, went to East China Normal University for inspection and exchange. Mei Bing, Secretary of the Party Committee of East China Normal University, Wu Ruijun, Assistant of the President, and heads of relevant departments attended the discussion.

At the symposium, Xu Mei introduced the development of the school and expressed her gratitude to East China Normal University for its continued support. She pointed out that the current construction of Hainan Free Trade Port has brought new opportunities to the development of Hainan Normal University. The two universities could further strengthen cooperation in talent training, discipline construction, cadre training, academic research, think tank construction, etc. She hoped that the two universities would establish a long-term effective cooperation mechanism to ensure the depth and sustainability of cooperation and achieve win-win progress for both parties.

Mei Bing warmly welcomed the arrival of Xu Mei and his delegation from Hainan Normal University. She expressed that there was a deep foundation of friendship and cooperation between the two schools. On the basis of in-depth communication, the key points and highlights of cooperation should be clearly defined, and the cooperation between the two schools should be guided from point to point to continuously advance in depth and jointly promote new developments and breakthroughs in the education industry of the two schools.

At the meeting, department heads and representatives from the two schools who participated in the forum had in-depth exchanges, and the two schools presented cultural and creative souvenirs to each other.

Xu Mei and her delegation also visited the School History Museum and Intelligent Education Research Institute of East China Normal University to gain an in-depth understanding of the history of East China Normal University and its outstanding achievements in personnel training, discipline construction, domestic and foreign cooperation and exchanges, and intelligent education.

In the afternoon of that day, Xu Mei and her delegation visited the Shanghai Alumni Branch and Alumni Enterprises and had a friendly discussion with alumni representatives. Xu Mei expressed satisfaction at the work of the Shanghai Alumni Association and the development of alumni, encouraged them not to forgot their original aspirations and made solid progress. At the same time, alumni were welcome to come home and take a look.
