Recently, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of the People's Republic of China released the list of the second batch of training institutions for digital technology engineer training projects. Our school has successfully obtained the qualification for training digital technology engineers as a "big data engineering and technical personnel training institution".

The digital technology engineer training project was one of the key projects of the national professional and technical talent knowledge update project. It was a vital measure to support the development of strategic emerging industries, accelerate the cultivation of digital technology-skilled talents, and promote the deep integration of the digital economy and the real economy. The school actively responded to the national talent development strategy and fully leveraged the advantages of university platforms and resources. Led by the Domestic Cooperation and Development Department and in collaboration with the Key Laboratory of Data Science and Smart Education of the Ministry of Education, the application was carefully organized. After being recommended by the Hainan Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security and evaluated by experts from the Ministry of Human Resources, our school was ultimately selected as the second batch of training institutions for this project.

The acquisition of this qualification was an important exploration for the school to actively serve the development of national strategic emerging industries and create a high-quality digital talent cultivation base. Under the unified deployment and guidance of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security (Provincial Talent Bureau),l, in accordance with national vocational standards, the school wil rely on the school's high-quality educational conditions and professional service capabilities, integrate the actual needs of digital development in the construction of Hainan Free Trade Port, optimize the training faculty, carry out digital technology engineer training work by profession and level, and create a distinctive and high-quality "big data" training brand project, Assist in the national digital technology talent training project.

It is reported that the corresponding class hours obtained by participating in the digital technology engineer training project can be recorded in the "Certificate of Continuing Education for Professional and Technical Personnel". Those who have obtained advanced professional and technical level certificates through training and assessment can serve as important references for applying for the evaluation of senior professional titles; those who have obtained intermediate or junior professional and technical level certificates can be included in the scope of recognition of senior, intermediate, and junior professional titles in various departments of various regions; and those who have obtained training qualification certificates can apply for vocational training subsidies in accordance with relevant regulations.
